Casamento gay: confira a lista das 379 empresas que pedem o fim da proibição nos EUA
NOVA YORK - Em uma mensagem enviada à Justiça, bancos, grandes empresas, associações, clubes de futebol e ONGs, entre outras instituições, argumentam que os estados onde o casamento entre pessoas do mesmo sexo ainda é proibido estão dificultando os esforços dos empregadores para recrutar e manter talentos nos Estados Unidos.
Os empregadores sentem-se mais seguros com uma lei de casamento uniforme que ofereça dignidade para as relações de trabalho", diz um trecho do documento apresentado pelo escritório de advocacia global Morgan Lewis.
No total, o documento encaminhado à Suprema Corte inclui a assinatura de representantes de 379 corporações, de acordo com fonte próxima ao assunto.
